This week, we’re up close and personal with THE PLANT THEATRE, just one of the focused zones at the fast-approaching FutureScape Spring event taking place at Sandown Park on Tuesday 12 March 2019.

THE PLANT THEATRE – Starts at 10am

Lead by our very own nurture editor Jamie Butterworth. Jamie will be joined from 10am in the Surrey Hall by experts of the horticultural community, poised and primed to debate, challenge and explore key topics.

10am: One to One: Live On Stage Interview

Jamie will quiz renowned garden designer Matt Keightley of Rosebank Landscaping. Expect a conversation that will entertain and inspire.


11am: Planting Design

What’s the next big thing in plants? Have your say alongside those who lead and shape in plant selection and landscape creation. Make a strong statement in colour, form, foliage and combination to stay ahead of the game in planting design.

2pm: Climate Change and the Impact on Horticulture

Join the conversation as we tackle the global warming issues and their impact on growing, designing and shaping future landscapes.

With a combination of organisers, growers and installers, this seminar will celebrate the people behind the scenes who make the world’s greatest flower shows happen.

A chance to amplify the importance of aftercare and routine maintenance in landscaping, be it for commercial, public or private gardens. Three of the industry’s protagonists set out their maintenance regimes for all to see.
