If there’s one FutureScape news update you’ll need (as well as your registration confirmation so you can hot-foot it through our self-service booths), it’s this one.
The One with the Show Guide
The FutureScape Show Guide has arrived – if you’ve got this, you’ve got everything you need. What to expect, how to get there, who else is there and when all the elements of FutureScape kick off – sorted.
The One with the Venue Address
Plot your course for SANDOWN PARK RACECOURSE, Portsmouth Road, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9AJ. IMPORTANT – if you’re using Sat Nav please enter PORTSMOUTH ROAD rather than the Sandown Park postcode to bring you to our main car park.
The One with Accommodation Options
If you’re looking for accommodation nearby, please have a look at www.sandown.co.uk for the local hostelries so you can beat the rush at 9am.
The One with the Directions
Easy access by road or rail – we’ll get you there. From London, take the A3 and follow the brown venue signs to Sandown Park. Exit onto the A307 and continue to follow the brown venue signs. Alternatively, from the M25, exit at Junction 10 and follow the A3 towards London before exiting onto the A307 and following the brown venue signs.
Esher Rail Station is just a 10-minute walk from the main entrance of Sandown Park Racecourse or there is a taxi rank right at the station entrance. Remember Esher is outside of Zones 1-6 so paper tickets only, no Oysters.
The One with Parking Info
Just like your entry to FutureScape, parking on site is FREE. We’ve ample space for over 2000 vehicles, coach and disabled parking spaces too. For electric car users, there are four Polar “fast charge” points in operation in the main car park.
The One with the Opening Times
Doors open at 9am, Seminars from 10am and we close up at 5pm before the Pro Landscaper Summit in the evening.
The One about the Awards
The small project BIG IMPACT Awards will take place between 12-2pm for those who have landed a spot on the shortlist. Preceding our invite-only Pro Landscaper Summit Debate at 6pm, the 30 under 30: The Next Generation ceremony beings as the curtain closes on FutureScape. All Awards events will take place in the Gold Cup Room.
The One about the Food and Drink
This year we’ve allocated extra room for seating and eating. There’s the Pro Landscaper Cafe in the Sports Bar and options in Esher Hall plus a Costa Coffee in Surrey Hall. Add in 2 new food options outside next to the Demo Area and a comfortable new seating area in the Espresso House and that should keep you fuelled throughout!
