FutureScape Expo 2020 enters partnership with SPATA & BISHTA

FutureScape Expo 2020 has joined forces with the Swimming Pool and Allied Trades Association (SPATA) and the British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association (BISHTA). The association will have a dedicated area at FutureScape Expo 2020, held at London’s ExCeL exhibition centre on 17 and 18 November 2020.

SPATA was established in 1961 and today the role of the Trade Association is to work with companies involved in building swimming pools and spa pools so that they are working to British and European Standards. Members are expected to work to SPATA Standards and also to abide by a Code of Ethics set out by SPATA.

BISHTA was established in 2001 to ensure that companies engaged in the display and sale of Hot Tubs are properly trained in water hygiene management and understand the importance of maintaining these standards. Members are expected to work to BISHTA Standards and abide by a Code of Ethics set out by BISHTA.

The partnership in 2020 will see SPATA and BISHTA take a 230m2 space at FutureScape Expo 2020, with members of the association showcasing products and services that can benefit landscapers and garden designers. It will allow visitors to FutureScape to browse water leisure products available on the market for use in schemes and projects.

SPATA and BISHTA will be on hand at the event with advice on using registered members for water leisure installations and help put visitors in contact with trade association members to suit their requirement.

Within the SPATA and BISHTA water leisure zone at FutureScape Expo 2020, visitors will be able to connect with professionals that work within the water leisure sector. Exhibitors will include companies such as pool builders and installers, pool surround suppliers, sauna, steam and wellness, tiles suppliers and hot tub retailers, amongst others. There are good profit margins to be had when specifying and installing these products, and it also opens up a new pool of customers for landscapers and garden designers.

FutureScape Expo 2020’s event director Jamie Wilkinson says: “We’re delighted to be partnering with SPATA and BISHTA to bring the Water Leisure Pavilion to FutureScape 2020 at Excel, London on 17 and 18 November.

“This will open up a new opportunity for landscapers and designers to grow their business with the specification and installation of water leisure areas. It’s important that standards are maintained, and the associations play a key role in ensuring their members meet those standards and adhere to a code of ethics.”

Registration for free tickets to FutureScape Expo 2020 will be open soon. Keep your eyes on www.futurescapeevent.com for further developments.
