Ros Burnley
Ros is a consultant specialising in skills and workforce development in the land based sector. She undertakes research, manages partnership projects and develops learning content. She has facilitated trailblazer apprenticeships in England since 2014 and has supported the development of 8 and the review of a further 3 apprenticeships. She works across horticulture, forestry, arboriculture and agriculture. She is an assessor for the RHS Master of Horticulture and Co-Chair of PlantNetwork.
Ros has an M.Sc. in horticulture and undertook practical training in the U.S. before joining Plant Heritage to manage the National Plant Collection® scheme. She established GreenSpace North West, a Forum for parks managers in the region and was partnership manager for Lantra, the Sector Skills Council for the land based sector.
