Natalie Porter
A pioneer for progress within her own company, as well as across the world of horticulture, Natalie joined her family business in 2014. Since then, she has driven 500% growth in turnover, along with a significant uplift in profitability- identifying a gap in the industry and rebranding and restructuring the business to meet the market’s needs.
Natalie has been a driving force in horticulture’s move to recyclable packaging, with the company now multi-award winning for its work in this area, as well as for the marketing concepts that have reinvigorated the business, and dragged the industry forward with them.
In early 2020, Natalie founded the Young People in Horticulture Association, which prides itself on engaging, educating and empowering a membership of almost 300 under 36s. Uniting this ‘hive-mind’ has already proven a powerful force, and has attracted sponsorship from multiple organisations including the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society.
