
Kirk Nelson
Kirk is a chartered landscape architect and experienced urban designer, and a director at LDA Design. He has led private and public sector projects throughout the UK and internationally.
Kirk has lived and worked in London for most of his career. Highlights include leading the transformation of public realm across Wembley Park for the last decade, which includes more than 6.500 homes, with new parks, squares, gardens, and traffic-free streets. He delights in creating healthy, sustainable places where people feel a rich sense of belonging, and believes landscape is the principal building block of place.
A keen cyclist, Kirk’s commute has been by bike since the early 90s. He is a Design Review panel member and regularly reviews schemes for London local authorities.
