Ben established Ecology by Design in 2015 and has grown the business to offer a complete ecological consultancy offer across the UK.
Ben is a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) with particular expertise at solving complex ecological impacts and designing mitigation under licence.
In 2022 Ben became one of the founding directors of Civity, a new business working with landowners and developers to broker the trade of biodiversity offsetting credits.
Civity acts as a brokerage or can offer a complete turnkey solution creating bespoke offsetting sites on its own land bank. Habitat banking gives us a unique opportunity not only to build nature in but also secure wider environmental and social benefits.
