We are aware that exhibitors and businesses within the events industry may receive unsolicited emails from third parties claiming to have access to FutureScape attendee lists, visitor databases, registration data or contact information.
Please be aware that these companies are not affiliated with, authorised by or endorsed by FutureScape.
Any email offering to sell you a FutureScape attendee or visitor list should be treated as fraudulent or unauthorised. FutureScape does not authorise external companies to sell our attendee data on our behalf.
These messages can appear convincing and may reference the FutureScape name, event dates, venue, exhibitors or other publicly available information. The use of FutureScape's name or event details does not mean the sender is associated with us. Similar warnings from other event organisers note that scammers can scrape publicly available event information to make approaches appear legitimate.
If you receive a suspicious email claiming to offer FutureScape attendee data:
- Do not purchase the list or provide payment details
- Do not click links or download attachments
- Do not reply to the sender
- Mark the email as spam or phishing
- If you are unsure whether a communication is genuine, contact the FutureScape team directly to verify it
FutureScape takes the privacy of its attendees, exhibitors and partners seriously. Any legitimate opportunities to access attendee information or connect with visitors will be communicated directly by the FutureScape team and through our official event channels.
If someone claims to be selling an “official FutureScape attendee list”, they are not acting on behalf of FutureScape.
