The Woodhorn Group
The Woodhorn Group manufacture a range of British Certified soils, including our BS3882 multi-purpose and low fertility topsoil, and our BS8601 subsoil. A range of bespoke rootzones are also available including USGA to suit specific needs.
We operate three licensed green waste management sites in West Sussex and Hampshire. Over 80,000 tons of local green waste is processed each year to create a high quality peat-free compost certified to PAS100 standard and approved by OF&G for use in organic systems. This is then used to produce over 35,000 tonnes of soil each year, supplying new housing estates, groundworks, and landscaping projects across the south coast and further afield.
Our Tangmere production site is conveniently located on the historic WWII Tangmere airfield just off the A27 near Chichester, West Sussex.
