Zac Ribak is an eco‑entrepreneur who transformed a desert upbringing into lush gardens, fueling his passion for sustainable water use. 

An installer by nature, he champions intelligent irrigation, often using rainwater and greywater, and blends creative, environmental, and engineering skills into every project consistent with his interest in sculpting. 

From founding Europe’s first Green Wall & Green Roof Centre in Hertfordshire to delivering award‑winning works at the Shard, Olympic Village, HM Tower of London, and Kew Gardens. Everything from Patios to Palaces. 

Zac’s career spans over three decades in irrigation design, installation, and maintenance 

He advocates “whole system thinking” to reduce water consumption and urban environmental impact. 

His philosophy is: “It’s not what we do, it’s the way that we do it” which reflects his commitment to excellence, sustainability, and green infrastructure 

Today, Zac continues to lead Watermatic in delivering efficient, sustainable irrigation solutions, proving that smart water management is part of essential infrastructure in a changing climate.
