Rachael White is an award-winning landscape designer and founder of Rachael White Designs. The daughter of a quarryman and farmer, she grew up immersed in landscapes, stone and the natural world, influences that continue to shape her work today. 

After studying Landscape Architecture at Leeds University, Rachael spent 8 years as an amateur jockey before returning to design and establishing her own practice. Over more than 25 years, she has designed and delivered an extensive range of private and commercial landscapes, including two small gardens at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. 

Her work combines strong spatial design with a deep understanding of planting, materials and landscape character. She is particularly passionate about regenerative design and the role landscapes can play in restoring biodiversity, connecting people with nature and creating places with lasting purpose.
