Speakers

Nicola is a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute and an Associate Landscape Architect for Groundwork London.  At Groundwork, she works as part of multidisciplinary team working to co-design and deliver community-focused projects, which provide practical social and environmental improvements and enable people and nature to thrive.

Nicola has a background in strategic green-blue infrastructure projects and delivering nature-based solutions at a variety of scales. She is part of the author team working on the new Rainwater Management Platform supported by the OFWAT Innovation Fund, which will transform the existing SuDS Manual into an interactive online platform providing best practice guidance for SuDS design and delivery.

Nicola was on the judging panel for the CIRIA BIG Biodiversity Awards 2026 celebrating outstanding delivery of NbS by the construction industry.
