Jolyon Kirby
Jo Kirby hails from a family of commercial growers who used pesticides routinely. At college, Jo became interested in environmental toxicology and went on to post-doctoral research in the ecology of decomposition. Jo has also studied the ecological processes at work in gardens and how they might be adapted to create beautiful places in which pests could never become a major issue. Jo’s book, The Good Slug Guide, is a distillation of his findings.
