Kew and the Natural History Museum
Professor Jeff Duckett is the 2008 recipient of the Linnean Society Medal for Botany resulting from his research on land plant evolution over six continents. Currently part of a team at Kew and the Natural History Museum, investigating the decline of heathlands due to nitrification, he also studies the effects of air pollution and climate change on mosses. In London he provides expert advice on retaining trees implicated in subsidence.
