Christine Leung is the founder of Lotus Brook, a Merseyside based social enterprise dedicated to helping community groups design, fundraise for, co-create and maintain vibrant community gardens and public realm spaces. Driven by a passion for urban regeneration, Lotus Brook transforms areas using naturalistic planting and reclaimed materials. Christine's show garden journey began at the 2019 RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park, where she led a group of community gardeners to design, propagate for and together build a gold medal winning 'Blooming Border.' Her success came full circle in 2024 when she earned her third RHS gold medal, the Best Terrace Garden award and was Highly Commended for Environmental Innovation for 'Glean' - a garden that connected urban food growing with the 3 R's of sustainability: reduce, reuse and recycle.
