Heptacodium miconioides, a small, deciduous, upright tree
with multiple seasons of interest.
From now until early autumn, this tree
produces small, white, scented flowers that are adored by bees and butterflies.
The flowers are followed by red calyx. The green foliage drops in
winter to reveal the attractive peeling bark.
Full sun/partial shade. Suits most soils.
