Project Spotlight: Sustainable Gravel Driveway in the Cotswolds 

One recent installation of our CORE DRIVE 40-40 system exemplifies our commitment to creating practical, beautiful spaces. Tasked with constructing a new gravel driveway for a large countryside property in the Cotswolds, the installer was faced with the challenge of creating a hardstanding surface that would resist rutting from regular vehicular use while preserving the site’s rural charm. 

By using CORE DRIVE 40-40, they were able to deliver a stable surface using locally sourced golden flint gravel. This was locked securely within the honeycomb structure of the grid, with the integrated membrane stopping weed growth and ensuring efficient drainage. Despite multiple slope transitions and tree root zones, the grid was easily shaped and laid to suit the natural contours of the site. The finished surface blended seamlessly with the landscape, while providing a firm and durable track for daily use .
