Building Resilient Landscapes: Meet Greenfix at FutureScape 2026 – Stand Y30

GreenFix Stand: Y30
As the landscaping industry continues to evolve, the demand for sustainable, resilient, and high-performance landscape infrastructure has never been greater. From protecting tree roots in urban environments to stabilising soils and managing surface water, landscape professionals are increasingly tasked with delivering solutions that balance aesthetics, environmental performance, and long-term durability.

This October, visitors to FutureScape will have the opportunity to discover a range of proven solutions designed to meet these challenges by visiting Greenfix Soil Stabilisation and Erosion Control Ltd at Stand Y30.

Who are Greenfix?

For almost 30 years, Greenfix has supported landscape architects, contractors, engineers, and developers with practical solutions that help create stable, sustainable landscapes.

Our product range is designed to address some of the most common challenges faced in landscape construction including soil erosion, poor ground stability, tree protection and water management. At FutureScape, we will be showcasing several key systems that are widely used across the UK landscape industry.

Supporting Healthy Urban Trees

Trees are an essential element of modern landscape design, particularly in urban environments where they contribute to biodiversity, cooling, and improved air quality. However, successfully establishing trees in heavily trafficked, paved environments requires careful planning to ensure roots have sufficient space while the surrounding surface remains structurally sound.

Greenfix offers two innovative systems designed to support healthy tree growth in challenging urban conditions.

The TreeBunker™ Urban Tree Pit System is designed to provide structural support beneath paved areas while creating large volumes of uncompacted soil for root development. The modular system allows trees to thrive beneath pavements and car parks while maintaining the load-bearing capacity required for urban environments.

Alongside this, the Geoweb® Tree Root Protection System provides an effective way to protect existing trees during construction projects and beyond. The cellular confinement structure distributes loads across the surface, reducing the risk of soil compaction in sensitive root zones while still allowing pedestrian and vehicle access.

Greenfix also supplies a range of root barriers, designed to guide root growth away from structures, paving, and underground utilities. These systems help prevent costly structural damage while allowing trees to establish successfully within designed landscape spaces.

Sustainable Ground Stabilisation and Permeable Paving

Ground stabilisation and water management are key considerations for many landscape projects, particularly where vehicular access or parking is required.

The Park Pave Porous Paving System provides a permeable ground reinforcement solution that supports vehicle loads while allowing rainwater to infiltrate naturally into the ground. Ideal for car parks, access routes, and overflow parking areas, Park Pave helps reduce surface water runoff while maintaining a natural, grassed appearance.

Creating Vegetated Retaining Walls

Greenfix also provides innovative systems for the construction of vegetated retaining walls, offering landscape designers a way to combine structural performance with natural aesthetics.

The Geoweb® Earth Retention System uses a cellular confinement structure to create stable retaining walls that can be filled with soil and planted with vegetation. The result is a strong yet natural-looking structure that integrates seamlessly into the surrounding landscape while providing effective soil retention.

Similarly, the Greenlok™ Vegetated MSE Wall System provides a flexible mechanically stabilised earth solution that allows vegetation to establish across the wall face. This system is ideal for creating green retaining structures that blend into their environment while delivering long-term structural stability.

These vegetated wall systems are increasingly being used in landscape schemes where space is limited but a natural, planted appearance is preferred over traditional hard retaining structures.

Proven Erosion Control Solutions

Erosion control remains a major challenge on landscape projects, particularly on exposed soils, embankments, and newly seeded areas where rainfall and runoff can quickly wash soil away before vegetation becomes established.

Greenfix has long been recognised for its range of erosion control blankets, available in both pre-seeded and unseeded options. These blankets protect the soil surface from rainfall impact and surface runoff while creating the ideal micro-environment for seed germination and vegetation establishment.

Pre-seeded blankets offer a convenient option for rapid installation, particularly on difficult-to-access slopes, while unseeded blankets allow landscape designers to specify bespoke seed mixes suited to the project’s specific environmental conditions.
