Moobba was founded in 2022 after our founder, struggled to find a reliable UK supplier of tiki thatch for his own project. What began as a search for authentic tropical materials quickly became a passion for bringing sustainable bamboo and tropical products to the UK market.

The name Moobba is an anagram of bamboo and reflects our commitment to one of the world's most versatile and sustainable natural materials.

Today, we work with landscape designers, architects, garden designers, contractors, and homeowners across the UK, supplying ethically sourced bamboo and tropical materials for a wide range of indoor and outdoor projects. From bamboo screening and fencing to poles, thatch, and decorative features, our products help create unique indoor and outdoor spaces inspired by nature.

Sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We source our bamboo and tropical products from trusted suppliers and artisan makers in Colombia and Southeast Asia, working directly with small, locally run businesses wherever possible. These partnerships help support local communities while ensuring the quality and authenticity of every product we offer.

As demand for sustainable landscaping materials continues to grow, bamboo is becoming an increasingly popular choice. Known for its strength, durability, and rapid renewability, it offers an environmentally conscious alternative for garden design, hospitality projects, and outdoor living spaces.

Whether you're creating a tropical garden retreat, designing a hospitality venue, or looking for natural materials to enhance your next landscape project, we're proud to help bring those ideas to life.

Dark Java Bamboo Poles, Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder by Adam Marshall, Show border at the 2026 Malvern Spring Festival

We were delighted to work with Adam on his award-winning design for the Malvern Spring Festival. Our Dark Java Bamboo poles were creatively used as eyelashes within the border, helping to create a truly unique feature that went on to win the People’s Choice Award.

Adam’s innovative use of succulents planted within the tops of the bamboo poles was particularly inspiring and showcased the versatility of bamboo in garden design.

Moobba bamboo poles are a popular choice for both professional landscapers and home gardeners. They have been used in water features, birdhouses, plant holders, terrariums, and a wide range of home crafting and decorative projects.

Available in a variety of lengths and diametres, our bamboo poles come in three finishes: Dark Java, Natural Apus, and Natural Guadua.
