See KECKEX live: hot water and steam for sustainable outdoor maintenance
)
What else could your weed-control equipment do?
Weed treatment and watering planted areas might seem an unlikely combination. Add outdoor cleaning and chewing gum removal, and KECKEX becomes a rather different equipment conversation.
Groundserv first went to see KECKEX in Austria to explore its herbicide-free weed-control technology. What also caught the team’s attention was the wider range of work the modular system could cover.
Different machines, modules and application tools allow KECKEX to be configured around those tasks. A combination of hot water and steam are used for thermal weed treatment; other tools and operating settings provide the low- or high- pressure cleaning and watering applications.
For contractors and grounds teams, the interesting question is how those capabilities could fit the work they already carry out across their sites.
At FutureScape, visitors can explore that question with Michael Keckeis, the CEO and developer of KECKEX, who will be joining Groundserv on outdoor stand OE40.
The self-propelled JESPI will be running live demonstrations, with the compact MOBI also available to inspect. Visitors can see the equipment working and discuss the practical details directly with Michael and the Groundserv team: application tools, access, water requirements and planning repeat treatments.
Bring a site photograph or a particular maintenance challenge. It’s an opportunity to explore a configuration around your work and ask the questions that matter before considering an investment.
Groundserv’s KECKEX entry is nominated for the Product Innovation Award, and the company is also participating in the Sustainability Trail.
Visit outdoor stand OE40 at FutureScape, Farnborough, on 13–14 October. The team will also have 2 day only show deals on Weibang and Westermann powered brushes and weed rippers, and selected STIHL tools.
