PALACE CHEMICALS SHOWCASES ROCK-TITE FOR EFFECTIVE FIXING OF EXTERNAL PORCELAIN TILES

Rock-Tite from Palace Chemicals is the best solution for fixing popular 20mm exterior porcelain or stone tiles.

Drawing on nearly 50 years’ experience as one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of tile adhesives, grouts and chemical products for the construction industry, Palace has developed its Rock-Tite Exterior Porcelain & Stone System to assist anyone installing outdoor floor tiling.

Visitors to the Show can see the product in action at a special demo which is being held in the Paving Demonstrations area, Stand T10, at 11am on 14th October entitled: Rock-Tite: The Easy 1-2-3 Guide to Exterior Tiling. This is your opportunity to join Palace Chemicals for a practical demonstration of how the system works, how to achieve the best results and how it delivers durable, weather-resistant performance. The demo will also include some time and cost saving tips when using the product.

The demonstration will be presented by:

• Steve Ball, Commercial Director, Palace Chemicals
• Nick Bratt, National Technical Sales Manager, Palace Chemicals

The system itself comprises a Primer, a Mortar and a choice of Brush-In or Flow Grout - the mortar being available either as a pre-blend or as a concentrate to which you add sand. Rock-Tite is ideal for use by landscapers and garden designers, as well as tile fixers and builders - anyone who is looking to extend internal tiled space to terrace or patio areas outside.

It is as easy as 1, 2, 3:

  1. Rock-Tite Porcelain Primer, supplied in three 5kg bags, with a 15kg mixing bucket. This is a fibre-reinforced, polymer-modified, cement-based primer, designed to improve adhesion when used with porcelain, stone and other low absorption types of paving.

  2. High strength fibre-reinforced Rock-Tite Mortar. There are two mortars available, depending on the type of project being undertaken - either a pre-blend 20kg version, that very easily just mixes with water or a more traditional version, which is supplied in a 15kg bag that mixes in a 1:6 ratio with sharp sand to create a bedding mortar.

  3. A choice of a 15kg cement-free Brush-In Grout/Jointing Compound or a Flow Grout, which is best for heavy trafficked areas. The grouts come in three 5kg bags supplied in a 15kg bucket - available in a choice of three different colours.
