Neil Parslow | Light Visuals

Neil Parslow is a specialist landscape lighting designer with more than 20 years’ experience designing and delivering considered lighting schemes for private gardens, country estates and landscaped environments.

His work is informed by the structure, planting and seasonal character of the garden, with particular attention to mature trees, visual hierarchy, glare control and how a landscape is experienced after dark. Rather than treating lighting as an afterthought, Neil works alongside garden designers, landscape contractors, and other specialists to develop schemes that integrate naturally with the landscape and evolve as the garden matures.

Through Neil Parslow Design, he provides a highly personal service encompassing design, technical coordination, installation and detailed after-dark commissioning.

Neil is also the founder of Light Visuals, a British manufacturer of professional exterior luminaires developed specifically for landscape lighting. Precision-machined in the UK, the modular black-anodised aluminium range has evolved through extensive use on Neil’s own projects. Its flexibility in beam angle, light output, mounting and glare control allows each light to be carefully adapted to the landscape.

Neil is a regular contributor to the landscape and lighting press and has shared his experience through industry education and international mentoring.
