Ben Russell Sculptor

Ben Russell creates contemporary hand crafted stone sculptures for the home and garden. A classically trained stone carver, Ben uses traditional skills alongside modern techniques to create nature inspired works from a variety of stone types. Favouring UK limestones and ethically sourced marble, onyx and alabaster from around the world, Ben takes inspiration from our woodlands and grown environments championing the often unseen or overlooked flora and fungi that make up the interwoven web of our living planet.

Alongside his own work Ben enjoys running his sister company The Dorset Stone Carver. Specialising in the more traditional side of working stone, TDSC undertakes bespoke commissions to his clients exacting standards.

Ben has worked with leading contemporary art galleries, artists, architects, designers and individuals and his work has found homes throughout the UK as well as Europe, America and Asia.
