The names Quiligotti and Terrazzo are simply synonymous – both offering premium quality, unlimited flexibility, excellent value for money and decades of reliable service.
The Quiligotti story began in 1935, when Albino Quiligotti and his son Edward arrived in Manchester with the goal of manufacturing Terrazzo in England. Thanks to their entrepreneurial sprit, and the growing interest in this hardwearing Italian style flooring, the company continued on a path of growth and expansion, through some tough economic conditions, not to mention a World War.
Today, Quiligotti is the only commercial UK Manufacturer of Terrazzo tiles in the UK. Although now equipped with the latest in manufacturing machinery and technology, the well-held traditional values of quality and service are as evident in the company today as they have always been.
All Quiligotti customers have the support of our technical team to help and advise. We don’t just supply tiles, we provide backup from design and specification stages through to fixing and installation.
To this day, Terrazzo remains one of the most versatile and durable hard flooring options available. Andrea Palladio used Terrazzo in his Venice villas in the 1560’s and it has been a natural choice for top quality design ever since.
Over 450 years later, Terrazzo flooring is still bringing innovative and creative building design to life. In addition to our extensive flooring ranges, we can customise and adapt pattern, colour and form to bring almost infinite choice to our customers. Varying levels of finish can also be achieved from honed to polished and bespoke designs are possible with water jet cutting and patterns to create flooring with logos and decorative graphics. Pre-cast solutions – Terrazzo can be formed into staircases, skirtings, column bases and made to almost any shape – finished, polished and delivered to site ready for installation.
