Boughton Loam offers a full range of certified proven growing media to the landscaping industries. Products range from 100% natural topsoil through to screened natural topsoil, ericaceous soil mixes, various specialist compost mixes and lightweight green roof substrates for the green roof market.

Boughton is one of the few topsoil producers that uses certified as dug natural topsoil in its products.

In addition, the team’s experience and understanding of landscaping and horticultural applications sets it apart from competition.

It has been supplying the construction, landscape and horticultural sectors of the market for more than 30 years.

Boughton is an established company that has been supplying the Amenity, Landscape and Construction Industry since 1985.

The business prides itself on the service and commitment given to each and every one of its many customers for over 30 years in business.

Boughton originated in Boughton quarry to sell the materials quarried and hauled by its sister companies Barton Plant Ltd. (now Barton Contracting Ltd.) and Peter Bennie Ltd.

Today, the business supplies natural topsoil, loam, and green roof substrates for sustainable landscaping projects from its purpose-built factory in Telford Way, Kettering.

The business produces high-quality soils, composts, decorative aggregates, sands, peat, bark mulch, and landscape growing media – all of which can be delivered anywhere in the United Kingdom.
